VIP-Heinke maintains Quality Control standards to meet ISO 9001/2000 requirements. Quality Assurance: The excellent reputation of VIP-Heinke's product range is founded on the high priority attached to quality control and assurance. That every product manufactured is of the highest quality is demonstrated by widespread certification from both national and international standards authorities. Not only was VIP-Heinke the first company to gain the BS Kitemark for the production of elastomeric pipe seals to 2494 (replaced by EN681-1), its manufacturing procedures also meet ISO 9001/2000. VIP-Heinke has its own microbiological laboratory, unique among rubber manufacturers. The well-equipped laboratory includes modern equipment capable of testing a wide range of strength, environmental and other physical properties. All incoming materials are tested, checked and approved prior to manufacturing. After the mixing of ingredients, each batch is tested for hardness and cure characteristics. Finished products are randomly tested on the shop floor before undergoing a quality inspection which includes visual, ultrasonic and physical testing for dimensions, physical properties and product appearance. Where appropriate, Quality Assurance procedures can be tailored to meet individual customer requirements.
