The Viploc is a lip seal type incorporating a plastic reinforcing ring to provide rigidity and to secure the seal in a formed seal groove. The seal has been so well proven in the PVC pipe market that it has in recent years been incorporated into metal fittings which are used to connect PVC pipe with iron pipe systems.   Seals are available in sizes   from 90mm to 315mm. Viptyte Iron Pipe Seals: The Viptyte is a patented gasket designed for application in the same joint design uses a standard Tyton gasket. The design of the seal acts as a compression seal and also employs a lip seal to provide a more secure sealing force as the internal pressure within the pipe increases. This unique seal design can be manufactured in either single or dual hardness as per the current Tyton seal design.
